Greek Love Story in Crete – Jenny & Chris’ Falasarna Wedding

Best photographer Crete

Falasarna Beach wedding in Crete by Irini Koronaki, destination wedding photographer in Greece. A stunning Greek couple from NYC celebrated their love with a beach ceremony, sunset portraits, and unforgettable party in Chania.

Jenny and Chris are a wonderful Greek couple who live in New York City, and they decided to celebrate their destination wedding in Crete — the island of sunshine, sea breeze, and unforgettable sunsets.

Their three-day wedding celebration was full of joy, love, and amazing energy. The kind of wedding every wedding photographer in Crete dreams of capturing.

Day 1 – Welcome Party at Sailing Club, Chania

The celebrations started with an incredible welcome party at the Sailing Club in Chania, where all their friends and family gathered to kick off the weekend. A live saxophone player created the perfect atmosphere while everyone enjoyed cocktails, laughter, and the most beautiful sunset view in Chania.

Day 2 – Intimate Dinner at Periplous Restaurant

The following evening was reserved for a small and elegant family dinner at Periplous Restaurant — a hidden gem near the heart of the city. Peaceful, stylish, and intimate — it was the perfect moment to relax before the big day.

Day 3 – Wedding Day at Falasarna Beach

The wedding day took place at Liokalyvo Beach Club in Falasarna, one of the most breathtaking beach wedding venues in Crete.

Jenny was absolutely stunning — she could easily be a model! During her bridal preparations, we had one of those magical photo moments where everything just clicks — perfect light, perfect energy, perfect emotions. Honestly, we could have kept photographing forever, if the groom hadn’t been waiting at the church!

The wedding decor was a beautiful mix of natural tones, blush pink, and a touch of neon, perfectly complementing the beach vibe. The couple cut their wedding cake right in front of the glowing Falasarna sunset — and if you’ve ever seen a sunset there, you know it’s one of the best in all of Crete.

Jenny surprised everyone with a fun, modern twist — instead of the traditional bouquet toss, she threw a “Labubu” doll, and all the single ladies went wild! 💕

The wedding party continued all night long, filled with dancing, laughter, and pure joy. To end the night, everyone enjoyed authentic Greek souvlaki, served with personalized stickers — the sweetest (and most delicious) way to wrap up a perfect wedding in Crete.
